every student has to attend six fifty minute classes per day. i didn't say anything about learning.

this is where phys ed is held. one lesson of pe monday to thursday, a double lesson on friday afternoon, and then every student is expected to visit the gym for at least half an hour over the weekend.

where you come to eat, obviously. not if you're a vampire, though. this is where you come to pretend to eat.

where people come to hide study or quickly do their homework before a lesson.

everyone has to come here sooner or later. it's a proper bathroom, but not very clean. showers in the right corner, toilets in the left, and a scuzzy sink or two near the door.

pretty much the same as the girls bathroom, but, surprisingly, much more cleaner. girls ocasionally come and hang out in here; the boys don't mind, seeing as the girls then have to sleep with whoever's in there.

everything happens in the hallways. make ups, break ups, and even reputations.

broken something? come here and you'll get a cast. witches, wizards and humans are regular visitors. werewolves heal themselves, and vampires don't break. ever.

everyone is allowed to use this, but, if you get caught here after hours, you'll get detention. lovely.

this is the only place where parties are held, and exams in the summer.

this is a place for students to come and relax/do homework/make out/have arguments/etc. go crazy.

the roof is exactly that, a roof. technically, no students are allowed up there, but that doesn't stop any of them. secret parties are hosted here, and most students come here to hang out if the common room is too full.

male only dorms. can you smell the testosterone? west county tend to house people by species - that way you don't have a vampire sharing a room with a werewolf - not by personal preference. three to a dorm.

oh yeah, course, because dorms where only girls are allowed isn't going to cause any problems whatsoever. you must be an idiot if you thought that this place was bitchy. ¬__¬ arguments happen daily in this place over the smallest of things, the wrong word can escalate into a full blown fight. vampires and werewolves are housed at opposite ends of the dorms, and everyone else is free to mix with whom they wish. three to a dorm.

mixed dorms. as in boys mixed in with girls. it's not hard to figure out what goes on behind closed doors; if you listen hard enough you'll be able to hear it. boys can share a dorm with girls, provided there's no 'funny business'. .. what people don't know can't hurt them. :]

only the head witch and head wizard are allowed here, unless you're invited. the head tower has been around even longer than wc; the school just adopted it.

the courtyard is accessable by all three different types of dorm, a back door leading out to the small, cobblestoned area. there's a fountain in the middle of it, that now doesn't work, thanks to generations of students fiddling with it. anything and everything happens here, gossip girl usually lurks, waiting for something to write about.

shrubs and bushes grow here, and the odd tree. many students love to hang out here, claiming of the fresh air and beautiful wildlife.

trance, house, drum and bass, r'n'b.. whatever music you're into, one of the many clubs around west county will cater for you. most clubs are sleazy, allowing people to do whatever the hell they want inside them, and others are respectable, serving alcohol to those only over the age of twenty one. .. they aren't that popular with the west county student body. vampires tend to get their blood from here if there isn't a nearby human or if their partner is elsewhere.

probably the only park in west county, and clearly the best. swings, slides, see-saws, you name it, it's here. it's the best place to go when you're drunk/high and own a camera. during school hours, it's usually filled with mothers and their little kids, but after dark, it's 'locked', but a spell/well aimed jump over the gate can sort that out. vampires prey on the humans who come here too; they're generally cleaner than the ones in the nightclub.

yet another great place to sit around and get drunk. drug dealers aren't uncommon, and there's more often than not a few humans lazing around mortally pissed off their face getting high, having sex or being bitten. people don't care what happens in this place; as long as they get what they want, it's fine. some people do come here to skate, between or during lessons if they're skipping, but they tend to be few and far between.

do you have any idea how much fun it is playing baseball in the middle of the vampire's field when you're pissed? or even high? technically, humans aren't allowed in the fields unless they're taken there, but that doesn't stop them. the fields are generally used as the witches' flying training; they need a big open space and that's exactly what the vampires have. the vampires agreed grudgingly, but only because the witches allow them to bite them if they get caught. werewolves are not allowed here.

like the vampires, the werewolves have a place to hang out where only they are allowed. if vampires are found here, the werewolves are allowed to kick them off their turf, and beat them up into the bargain. going into the werewolves' forest is breaking the age old treaty between vampires and werewolves, so it's not worth risking it.

merlin's grove was established in 1853 by sandra de la vere, one of west county's most infamous head witches. it's said that the rivalry between witches and wizards starts with her, but nothing can be proved. merlin's grove is rumoured to be built on merlin's grave. to humans, werewolves and vampires, it's just a place to buy souvenirs, a tourist attraction. to witches and wizards, it's their very own diagon alley. the shop owners are witches and wizards themselves, and only sell magical items to those of magical origin. only the witches and wizards can go upstairs into the real shops; everyone else is restricted to the front.

forks memorial park is where families lay the dead to rest, or where older vampires prey on whatever humans happen to be lingering there after hours. most humans are smart enough to avoid it, but there are some who are stupid and who will take the risk.

west county university is brand new. established in 2009, its main goal is to offer education to those of supernatural origin - and humans who know about them - without them having to worry about keeping themselves a secret.

the olympic peninsula’s west-side hub-and-spoke community of forks is an active arts community with fast-running rivers, temperate rain forests and miles of primeval shoreline nearby. the city of forks is also the location of west county high.

george street is one of the more popular student housing esates in washington, with almost all students from wcu living in an apartment. there are the odd wc high school students living in one of these apartments too, but they are few and far between. some students prefer to stay on campus.

some of the richer graduates or locals may choose to live in one of the houses set up around west county. very few of the students live here, but there are those few that dislike living at the school.

at the heart of olympic national park lies one of the great old-growth temperate rainforests of the pacific northwest.

bring a jacket, sturdy shoes and illumination, then delve into the past with a dimly lit exploration of a 1,900-year-old lava tube.

crystal water from the snoqualmie river plunges more than 27 stories and can be seen from above, beside or below the falls.

surfing, parties, and god knows what else all happen on this beach. parties are few and far between, mainly because of the weather.

squak mountain consists of approximately 2,500 acres of public land. squak mountain state park offers close-in hiking trails and wildlife habitat only 18 miles from downtown seattle.

rainy lake is exactly that; rainy and a lake. tourists like this area of forks more than others, but there have been some students spotted around here.
